All course are part of the Critical Cultural Consciousness series facilitated by Dr. Michelle Cromwell of The Cromwell Group LLC. Courses are designed for professionals who want to begin the journey of equity literacy and who have the goal of going beyond awareness to engage in a sensitivity that comes from critical inquiry of themselves, the systems that inform the policies, practices and programs they develop.
Signing up for The Cromwell Group school will add you to our Users list, but you will still need to enroll in specific courses and coaching products of your choice to access our content.

Hi, I’m Michelle Cromwell aka Dr. C.
I bring almost two decades of experience as an equity, diversity, and inclusion scholar- practitioner, master conflict coach, and dialogue facilitator. I describe myself as a pracademic, which is a scholar-practitioner, who has one foot in the academe and the other in the wider community as a partner-practitioner. My research is focused on using dialogue and conflict transformation techniques to build trust, disrupt organizational chaos, and promote reconciliation and healing where there is historic prejudice, misuse of power, or race, gender, or class-based tensions.
I serve as an independent consultant with emphasis on conflict resolution, organizational transformation, crisis management, and equity-centered inclusion. I work with Universities, Colleges, Hospitals, Healthcare Organizations, and emerging executives to identify, address, and resolve their Organizational PAIN (persistent aggravations and identified negatives).
My Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution with a specialty in Ethnic Conflicts, and an MS. in Dispute Resolution both from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. In 2018, I had the honor of being inducted as one of Nova Southeastern University’s Distinguished Alumni, for work in social justice and restorative practices. My B.Sc. in Social Work is from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad where I was born.
In my spare time I teach Kundalini yoga and develop whole-food plant-based recipes to mimic favorite foods from a West Indian childhood.
I'm the proud mother of a recent graduate of the University of London, who landed his dream job with the Boston Red Sox.
